Frozen II is the soundtrack album to the Disney animated film of the same name. The soundtrack was released on November 15, , while the film was released on November It features seven new songs again composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez along with the return of " Reindeer s Are Better Than People " from the original film, in addition to end credits covers of three of the film's new songs by Panic! It was the first soundtrack of an animated film to hit number one since the soundtrack to Frozen. In March , Kristen Anderson-Lopez revealed in an interview that she and her husband, Robert Lopez , would return from the film Frozen to write new songs for its sequel Frozen II , having already recorded a song for the sequel with star Kristen Bell. Co-director Jennifer Lee said that "the songs and score of Frozen 2 reflect the growth of the characters and the deepening of their story" and called the songs "emotional, personal yet powerful, intimate but also epic", while co-director Chris Buck said that "[t]he music of the Lopezes and [composer] Christophe Beck are part of the DNA of Frozen. They bring such a rich, emotional understanding of the world and characters, and through their incredible music we have been able to really deepen and expand the story".

You can praise or blame them for the tunes being stuck in your head or sung repeatedly by the little kids in your life. Queen Anna, indeed. The revelation-filled number is packed with important memories and also marks the next step in her mythic journey. The song gets even better and emotional when it turns into a bit of a medley. That could be why Disney released it first: It comes early on in the film and contains fewer story spoilers than some of the others ranked higher here. Musically, its riff is the most recognizable and Disney knows it and has been the most closely compared to its Oscar-winning predecessor. Look out for toddlers following that calling too and belting this track at the top of their lungs. And for its inevitable Academy Awards campaign.
Some pretty exciting news has dropped for all you Frozen fans out there! Disney has released a new trailer for Frozen 2 and details of the soundtrack to accompany the film. We also got our first listen to one of the movie's BIG songs. Called Into The Unknown , it is sung by Elsa and like Let It Go - the famous song from the first film - it seems to be all about Elsa exploring the limits of her powers.
